The Position: Senior Strategist
Senior Strategists work with a multi-disciplinary team of designers, technologists and program managers through the “fuzzy front end” of an engagement, establishing the frameworks that will guide the outcome. As the architect of the early project vision, it is critical that the Senior Strategist make clients feel both comfortable with and engaged in the entire design process. They work closely with designers and technologists to inject strategic considerations into each step of a client initiative. Senior Strategists must be adaptable to fast-changing situations, adept at answering tough questions from clients, and diplomatic in their assessment of the clients’ needs.
The Senior Strategist is trusted to work with limited supervision from a strategy director. They must be pro-active and independent in running their aspect of projects, and confident in making critical decisions when information may be incomplete or conflicting.
