What will you be doing?
Interaction Designers are responsible for designing the behaviour of interactive products, from overarching interaction models down to detailed micro-interactions. Interaction Designers create the core scaffolding and guidelines (architecture, user flows, navigation models, etc) that shape how people interact with products, and collaborate closely with Visual Designers and Design Technologists to bring these to life in the final product.
As a Principal Interaction Designer, Enterprise Software, you are expected to cultivate depth in the craft of interaction design of complex software tools: as an individual contributor, as a mentor and guide for more junior colleagues, and as a leader within the global community of practice. You will often be the backbone of your projects from beginning to end. You will plan, prioritise, and deliver interaction design activities autonomously, in the context of interdisciplinary projects. You will lead client conversations within your domain, providing articulate recommendations and helping guide client choices. You will lead project teams and business development pursuits for software programs. You will share your expertise internally and externally through training, development of new tools and methods, and thought leadership.
