Your Responsibilities 

As an Associate in our Idea Development team, you would be responsible for:

  • Designing, coordinating and managing qualitative research activities,
  • Generating and articulating thought-provoking consumer insights,
  • Developing and designing new product, service and experience ideas,
  • Writing and optimizing concise and compelling research concepts,
  • Stimulating and inspiring cross-functional teams – both internally and externally,
  • Presenting key deliverables to senior executives with our clients’ organizations

   You would be responsible for working with cross-functional project teams within Fahrenheit 212 and working closely with members of our strategy, idea development and design teams. 

 

Your Future

Your experiences as an Associate would be designed to help you develop a broad range of relevant skills, and prepare you for a potential transition to a role as a Consultant. In addition to regular team training sessions, you would be assigned a mentor to work with you on building specific skills and capabilities aligned to pre-defined professional development goals. 


Our Requirements

You should have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, and a minimum of two years experience working in the field of innovation – for an innovation consulting firm, a design firm, a brand strategy firm or within a corporate innovation team.  You should also have experience working as part of a cross-functional team, and collaborating with clients and external partners. You should be a lateral thinker adept at uncovering the insights and themes that can spark innovation, and passionate about using those insights to develop products, services and businesses.

You should be able to demonstrate the following characteristics:

  • Powerful Storytelling. You should have an intuitive ability to represent complex concepts in a clear, concise and compelling way.
  • Engaging Presentation Skills. You should be experienced and comfortable presenting to large groups and delivering inspiring and engaging presentations.
  • Creative Sensibilities. You should have an aesthetic appreciation, and ideally experience working with creative teams across a range of disciplines and deliverables.
  • Diverse Experience. We don’t specialize in any particular industry or category, and as such you should be able to demonstrate a range of category experience.
  • Tech-Conversant. You should have a good understanding of emerging technologies and a their impact on consumer and market trends. You should ideally be able to demonstrate an understanding of product and software development models.
  • Contagious Passion. You should see and be inspired by disruptive innovation and transformational ideas, and be able to stoke the fires of those around you.
  • Considered Opinions. You should be able to form thoughtful and considered perspectives, supported by both objective fact and strategic conviction
